Sales Executive

Overview

As a Sales Executive, you will play a key role in acquiring and maintaining new clients for our portfolio of HubSpot software and inbound/outbound marketing services. Working independently, you will identify opportunities, strategize outreach, and close deals to generate revenue. This is a remote, U.S.-based position requiring at least 3 years of experience, offering a base salary plus commission.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and qualify business opportunities within the focus industries.
  • Lead the end-to-end sales process, from initial contact through to contract negotiation and close.
  • Articulate the value proposition of SmithDigital marketing services and HubSpot software.
  • Develop and manage a sales pipeline, balancing short-term wins with long-term prospects.
  • Meet and exceed individual monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • Work independently to manage your schedule, leads, and sales process.
  • Provide regular sales forecasts and activity reports via HubSpot.
  • Stay current with industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
  • A minimum of 3 years of sales experience selling digital marketing software and/or
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote setting.
  • Familiarity with CRM software for tracking sales activities and customer data.
  • Compensation includes base salary plus commission.
